Album Covers

Album art for Everything Seems Like Yesterday by The Frights. This one was cool. I've been a punk listener since I was a kid, so getting that check with Epitaph written at the top felt really cool. This was probably around 2018? I'm really bad with these dates. The idea was a bunch of objects floating in the skeleton of a house, and from the front angle, they form the shape of a possum. I don't know how successfully it was rendered, as I wasn't very confident with my coloring at the time, but I think they liked it in the end.

I prefer the uncolored version so I included them here. I'm always partial to classic black and white. I think it looks nice, you get to see the lines better, and things tend to make a little more sense.

My longtime e-buddy Amelia asked me to do the cover for what I believe may have been Positronix's first EP? This must have been sometime around 2017-2018. I'd have to fact-check that, but it was an honor nonetheless, and it's now been a long-running project. They shred, she's amazing, highly recommend a listen. I had just gotten chiggers for the first time, and was obsessed with the old wives tale about them living under your skin. It's untrue, as it turns out, but I liked the visual enough to draw it anyway.
